Hiding the shells means letting them blend into their environment. A crack in a wall, a corner in the street, places where people rarely pay attention. They become part of the city, almost invisible until the right eyes notice them.

The act of hiding is also an act of offering. Each shell waits quietly, carrying its number and its mark, ready to be discovered by someone who might not even know what it means, yet still takes it home as something special.
