Inspired by the Mediterranean sea, the idea of reimagining sealife through Tienqa patterns began to take shape. In this work, the familiar form of a goldfish emerges, one of the most iconic and recognizable creatures. The goldfish is a paradox, often living confined in small spaces yet still radiating beauty and light.

Hidden within the lines is the word Kingyo, the Japanese word for goldfish. It is both a secret and a signal, connecting cultures and reminding us that even within limitation, there is a brilliance that cannot be dimmed.
