NO FACE NO CASE

identity

2020
Permanent marker on canvas
50 × 50 cm

A painting built around the idea of hiding identity, echoing the familiar image of a black bar across the eyes. It refers to the common notion in crime and culture that when the face is not shown, one remains untouchable, beyond recognition.

Among the first works, it shows how the Tienqa style transforms this coded anonymity into pattern, dissolving identity into lines that both conceal and reveal.
