In street culture, to be strapped usually means carrying a weapon, a sign of both protection and danger. Here the pattern takes the form of a gun, but it is not made of steel. It is made of lines, a design strapped close to the body like a piece of armor.
The work turns the image of violence into expression. What looks like a weapon becomes a symbol of connection, power redefined through art. Strapped no longer means armed to harm, but armed with identity.
